Cedar House Planning Approval

Insideout have recently obtained planning permission for the alteration and addition of an existing three storey building comprising of six residential (C3) apartments located the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Detailed design work is underway on the proposals which include an extension to the rear and a three-storey vertical extension on top of the existing building to provide an additional six apartments, which will improve the quality of life for the existing inhabitants and provide accessible family sized apartments for locals and new residents to the area.

A new modernised brick fa├žade is proposed with generously sized windows and a complementary lightweight zinc rooftop level that will transform the existing building to provide a contemporary residential building which will enhance the existing streetscape and local neighbourhood.

The alterations improve access into the building, provide large amounts of new cycle parking spaces and amenity space, as well as significantly increasing the energy performance of the existing building.
