Cedar House Planning Approval

InsideOut have recently obtained planning permission for a three storey 12-unit scheme in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Detailed design work is underway on the proposal which includes an extension to the rear and a three-storey vertical extension. An additional six apartments will be added to the original block of six (C3) apartments to not only improve the quality of life for the existing inhabitants but also provide accessible family sized apartments for locals and new residents to the area.

A new modernised brick fa├žade is proposed with generous windows and a complementary lightweight zinc rooftop level that will transform the existing building and enhance the existing streetscape and local neighbourhood.

The alterations improve access into the building, provide large amounts of new cycle parking spaces and amenity space, as well as significantly increasing the energy performance of the existing building.
