The Residential Roundup

2019 was an impactful year for us at InsideOut. We kicked off the year becoming an Employee Ownership Trust and embarked upon developing some of our most exciting projects to date.

Irrespective of a site’s location, whether in inner London or in the open countryside, locking in high-quality design and REAL sustainability while delivering economically viable developments have been our primary objectives over the past year.

Shaping the Future

Masterplanning and sustainability have been at the forefront of many of our projects over the past year. Our Residential team has been focussed on several design and landscape-led multi-unit developments across the South-East. These projects include an ecologically sensitive masterplan of 72 units in a suburban fringe site in Saltdean, a 15-unit all-affordable Rural Exception Site in the High Weald AONB, and the redevelopment of an industrial estate in Chalfont St. Giles adjacent to the Chilterns AONB.

Partnering and Collaborative Delivery

Our strong collaborative relationships with our developer/contractor clients have been put to good use throughout 2019. We broke ground on the build of our first multi-unit Passivhaus scheme (Fairbrook Grove, due to be completed this Summer) and have completed our 22-unit development in Lambeth (Knollys Road).

Building Relationships

The final quality and success of a project are led by the client/developer and we are fortunate to benefit from good, long-lasting relationships with all our clients.

Our team are excited to continue to deliver projects that enhance place and the environment through innovation and high-quality design and are extremely grateful to our loyal and ambitious developer clients who continue to place their trust in us.
